Nope. Disposables for us both (1985 and 1987). She thought I was bananas for doing cloth.

Yup, they cloth diapered all 3 of us. They used disposables for convenience when out of the house or traveling. Over the 7ish years they were using diapers, they used a diaper service at times and washed their own. They did it for a variety of reasons--babies with sensitive skin, environmental concerns, minimal chemicals, cost, etc. They both encouraged me to cloth diaper, gifted us 3 months of diaper service, and are amazed at how far cloth diapers have come.

My older sister was cloth diapered, safety pins and all. My mom was going to cloth diaper me but then I was born premature and while in the hospital I was changed constantly so I hated being wet. She actually had to order special premie diapers from the NICU since you couldn't buy them in the store!

Yes, me and my 2 siblings were. They were more economical. She used pre-folds with old-school diaper pins and plastic covers. Washed them all, rarely ever used a dryer, hung them all on the line. This was in Canada, it wasn't as if disposables weren't available, I just don't think they were affordable for my family.

Yes, cloth for the three of us as babies. Nothing fancy just pieces of white cloth folded up and secured with safety pins!
