My parents did. They are adorable! I'm so thankful because I feel like they gave me such a strong belief about what I want for my marriage. My brother & I used to stay at my grandma's house when they had date nights. We thought it was fun & they got a break from us.

not date nights, because they worked such long hours, but they used to and still do sunday date days/nights. they love going for long drives, going to the parks to sit and talk by the lake, etc.

Yes. Sometimes it was double/triple dates with other couples but they would try to go out once a week. They have got more regular about date nights over time and for the last 15 years of so they've gone out every Friday night.

Never! I was never left alone or in someone else's care unless there was an emergency.

They also went on two vacations a year without the kids (and still do!)

They are ridiculously in love and flirtacious, I still see my dad squeezing my mom's butt. Gross!

@autumnlove: yeah, I didn't start thinking that was weird until I became a parent and wanted to go out but couldn't. And then I realized that my parents never went out so then I guess it's not so bad? Haha, still crazy though.
