Maybe it was because I had a midwife at a birth center, I loved my appts and always looked forward to them! The center allowed for Saturday appts so DH and I would make a date out of it each month and go for lunch afterwards 
I loved seeing how much he had grown, hearing his heartbeat, asking questions, learning month specific information, etc.
It was a special time for us!

I liked the time that I was actually seeing the doctor..... but there was such a long wait each time. That got annoying.

I am enjoying them! I really like my OB, she's fantastic and I love hearing the heart beat every time.

I loved going to my doctor's appointments. I loved being able to ask my questions and hearing LO's hearbeat (and seeing her when we had ultrasounds). I also loved my doctor and the nurses. We moved when I was 38 weeks pregnant so I had to find a new doctor for the last couple of weeks. I cried at my last appointment with my first doctor and I cried at my first appointment with my new doctor (I liked my new doctor, just not as much at the time). I was very hormonal about it.

Meh-- they are OK. In the beginning they were more exciting, and I always love hearing the heartbeat, but my last appt I felt like the midwife was rushed and slightly annoyed at my questions. It was very likely just an off day for her, because every other time I've seen her it was good, but it left me less enthused about the whole thing.
The ultrasound tech that we saw was really great though-- gave us tons of print outs, was really into the whole thing-- It probably helps that she is pregnant too.

I love them! Love my OB, and I love hearing LO's heartbeat. In the very early days I was always nervous they wouldn't find a heartbeat or something, but now it's all good.

I enjoy listening to the heartbeat and hearing whatever the doctor has to say about that month, but the appointments tend to be short and the wait long.

I like my midwives and the wait was always short, but I never really had any questions so I always felt like it was a waste of time, like I was spending an hour an a half of my day just to hear the heartbeat. (Ok, I'm crazy, the heart beat didn't excite me after the first couple times. Once I could feel LO move I knew he was in there and doing well!)

They were mostly pretty rushed and sometimes not much happened, but I absolutely loved them and looked forward to all of them, especially when we started getting to hear the heartbeat.

I go to a really good doctor at a great hospital and I love meeting with him, but I dread my appointments because the hospital is a full 20 minute walk from the subway and regardless of what time I arrive I am kept waiting for an hour minimum past my appointment time. I try to schedule the first appt of the day, but every time I do that the office calls me a few days before the appt and has to reschedule me for either 10:00am or 2:00pm, the most inconvenient times!

Yes I love them! I always look forward to hearing the heartbeat. They're always on Friday afternoons so DH and I get off work early, head to the the appointment, then go for a late lunch. I wish they happened more than once a month

I love going because we get to hear/see the baby and get more info about what's going on. Plus, the doctor always tells us what to expect next time and each week, there's a new to do (e.g. pick a pedi, pre-register at hospital, sign up for classes, etc.)so it brings us closer to meeting our baby! Plus, we always go out and eat afterwards, and I get to leave work early. =)

Yes, loved them. Saw a nurse midwife the first time and an OBGYN the second. Both times, I felt so comfortable during appts. Sometimes it was like visiting a girlfriend for some girl talk. That means to say, they both had awesome bedside manner

Love my midwife appointments and we don't usually have to wait long. We meet in the birthing suites and it is always really relaxed and calming. I'm so familiar with the rooms (there are 3 different ones) that I think it will feel like home when the time comes.

I quite enjoy them and look forward to them.
I'm also with a midwife and I love that each appointment is ~45 minutes long and leaves lots of time to chat, ask questions and review a different topic (e.g. preterm labour, GD, postpartum care for baby etc.) relevant to that particular point in my pregnancy. It's so nice to get to know my care provider as a human being and for her to get to know me as well.

Indifferent usually. I go to a good practice and have only had a truly long wait once (she was late to work and I was the first patient. I should have known when the receptionist was surprised she was scheduled for an early appointment). Otherwise it was all very routine because I never had too many questions but I did like the heartbeat.

Yes I would get so excited! I had a great ob and never had to wait. I get sad when I drive past the office and can't wait to have another baby!

my appointments were really short (getting to and from the office too longer than the actual appointment), but i liked them because i wanted to hear the heartbeat, and i like my OB.

Mine were short and pretty boring from after my anatomy scan to when I have birth. I had a normal no complication pregnancy so there wasn't anything to do or ask!
