DH has always wanted a big family. He's always been firmly on 3 or more! 
He ultimately says it's up to me though because I have to do all the hard work (pregnancy, labor/delivery, BFing)! 
He said he'd be happy with our two boys if I didn't want another! (I've always been maybe 3)

Yes? Before we got pregnant with E we were settled on two, but late in my pregnancy with him we both changed our minds and decided we were one and done. When E was about 6 months old I changed my mind back to wanting another, but D was 98% set on not having another. I didn't push it, I just asked him to not completely shut the door on a second. When E was 2.5 he opened the door wide, and we got pregnant with G two months later

He's just been pretty flexible. I don't think he had a set number in mind when we first met, and I wasn't sure either. We agreed to have one and then see if we wanted more. After LO, we decided to go for #2, but after a couple losses, I started to wonder if we should stop at one, and he said he'd support me either way.

We always wanted a big family, but then he was done after the first LO! I negotiated for 2, but now we're 2 and through, and I thought we'd have 4 or 5

My poor DH, We always agreed on 2, but really he's always just wanted a son. I gave him that and have decided I'm one and done. I think he's finally started believing me, because instead of saying kids in a senerio now he just says kid.

He'd like ten if I'd go for it. He's one of 6, and I'm one of 2, so 4 is meeting in the middle of our norms. Ha! I'm pregnant with #2 now, so we'll see how we actually feel after that.

Yes, he's gone back and forth on the number depending on our work circumstances and whether the kids have been behaving lately He's a very involved dad, so I know if we have any more kids just as much of the hard work will fall on his shoulders as on mine. Except for lots of reasons it's harder for him to deal with the kids while they're little, so he's the one who will make the call whether our family will grow some more.

Dh has always wanted 6. Getting to number one has been a long drawn out struggle, so now he says 2. Once we finally have 1, we'll have to reevaluate.

When I met him, he was firmly no more (he has an adult son from a previous marriage). Now we have 2 (living) children together and he is done, firmly so since he got snipped last month.

Yes! He's killing me! Though I wavered some too. Initially I wanted 2-3, he wanted 0-2, so 2 was our compromise. After all we've been through I was thinking maybe 1. We were good with that, then when LO was 6 months he throws out that maybe he wants another. Which just got in my head and now I REALLY want another, but now he's back to not wanting another. Come on man! If he'd never brought it up I really don't think I'd have reconsidered. Now I'm frustrated.

DH is one of 3 and I am one of 2, so we'd been open to 2-3, and perhaps a 4th or fostering later in life. But then we had a lot of issues conceiving our first child, a rough pregnancy, and a rough first year. So then we were like okay maybe we can swing 2 after DS is a little older. But then we got a surprise pregnancy when he was 10 months old and now we'll have 2 boys 20 months apart!
DH and I feel like physically (for me) we're good with 2, but we're still open to a 3rd via adoption or fostering in the future, so I guess the door is technically open? We've never really disagreed on the number of kids though.

DH always wanted a large family because he is 1 of 8. I always said 2 and we'll talk about more. Now that we have 2, DH is ready to stop and I'd like to adopt in a few years.

He has always wanted 1, I have always wanted 2. We had IF getting pregnant with our first and assumed that was it, so of course SURPRISE 
and now we have 2 and are done. He got sniped 8 weeks after sis was born. I would be open to fostering once our kids are 5+ but idk about DH.

We are taking it one kid at a time. Right now, we have 1. We'll see where we go from here. We both waiver depending on how things are going. I think we both definitely want 2 but we take it day by day.

Back when we were dating, we both said we wanted two kids...then after we got married discovered we both secretly wanted three! After our gorgeous LO arrived, we toyed with the idea of three...but after our MC last year I realised ttc is too hard on me emotionally as it doesn't seem to be as easy as just wishing (obvs)...i think we will stop at two (& be so grateful)!!

Kind of? He was always in the two camp. However, when we had a really hard time conceiving our 2nd child, he was very okay being one and done. Thankfully he still was fine with us Persuing fertility treatments, but we both agreed if our last attempt had not worked we would have stopped trying (at least for a little while).

DH wants to repopulate the earth so it's really all up to me. We're thinking 3-4 with the outside possibility of 5. We have two now and will ttc sometime this year!

We both wanted 4! That seemed like the perfect amount. I would still love 4, but we may realistically only have 2 for financial reasons. But time will tell!

I always said 3 and he said 2. We agreed to have 2 and then reevaluate. Most days we both want a third so we'll probably start NTNP soon and just see what happens.

He always said 0-1, and now that we have 1, he still says he's happy and is done. I was always more 1-2 and would like to give us until her 2nd birthday to decide for sure. Some days, having another seems way too overwhelming, but sometimes I do think it would be fun for her to have a sibling.
