I haven't gotten one yet, but DD loves to help out in the kitchen, so I'm thinking of buying or building one when we move into our new house next year.

I have been looking on Craigslist and local fb resale groups. If not in a few months I def want to get DH to build one.
Cooking is a big part of our life!

Nope. Up until now I would just bring LO's high chair to the kitchen and let him work on his tray, and recently I started letting him bring a stool to the kitchen. I'm always right next to him so I don't really see the point.

We have one and LOVE it. My BFF and her hubby built it for her as a first birthday gift. MIL loved it so much when I found one at a yard sale she snapped it right up for her house.

I don't think it would work in my kitchen but I think they are cool. I wish there could be a mini version since they seem really big.

I wouldn't - they seem sort of silly expensive for what you get.

One of my good friend's husband made one for their family. I didn't think too much of it, but DS loves it! I don't think I would buy one, but maybe DH and my friend's DH can make one together for us.

Our ikea wooden stepstool has done a good job so far! I do worry about him falling because he's always goofing off, but it's a good lesson for him to learn anyway... he never stays still!

No, we also use an Ikea step stool and that has been going well.
