Like @zippylef, we had an appointment at 2 days, 2 weeks, and 2 months.

We had day 3, week 2, month 1, month 2, month 4, month 6, month 9, and month 12.

I think our first was 2 days after discharge so like 5 days old and then again at a month

We were supposed to only have a 2 week and a 2 month visit. We also ended up having a 1-month visit, but that was only b/c our LO had not yet re-attained her birth weight at the 2-week visit.

We had our initial visit and won't go back until DS is 2 months. Unless there are some potential issues, I don't think a 1 month visit is very common, since the shots don't start until 2 months.

Mine did. We had her 4 day checkup and she was gaining sufficient weight that the ped was comfortable with skipping her 2 week appt.
