My mom got married when she was 20, but didn't have me until she was 34. I got married at 27 and will be 30 when my LO is born.

My mom (and sister! ) both married at 18, had their first child at age 20. I had my LO at age 32, so a 12 year age difference. They were both done having children by my age.

She had her first baby (my older sister) when she was 21. She had her second baby (me!) at 26, and her last baby at 31. I had my first baby at 29 and will have my second at 30.

My mom was 26 when she had her first. I was 28 with mine.

Ha. My mom was 17 when she had my brother, 22 w/my sister and 24 for me. I will be 33 for my first! So... 16 years difference.

My mom was 30 with my sister and I was 28 with ds. 30 was old for her generation but now it's the norm.

OMG 10 years! My parents got married when my mom was 20, but they took 5 years to grow up, travel, and have fun before having kids. I had my first at 35!

We were both 30. She got married later than many in the 70s... 23 after she graduated from college. They traveled with my Dads job and lived overseas for many years.

My mom was a few months shy of 32 and I was 30. She and my dad were married 10 years before having kids so it was considered very late/odd! Whereas I'm on the younger end of having kids in my family/social circle now, though my brother was younger when he had his first (28)
