I just got the Beco Gemini carrier to carry DS2 in, and I'm really having difficulties with it. DS2 is 5 months old (as of today!), and weighs about 17 lbs. I purchased the Beco Gemini based upon reviews that Mrs. Bee posted, as well as some I found online. I previously used the Moby wrap with DS1, but found that my back would be burning after a short use, and he seemed to be slipping down while I wore him.

I got the Gemini on Weds. and have been attempting to use it every day since then. The issue is that I cannot seem to buckle the top back straps which hold the whole carrier together when DS2 is in it. Maybe my arms are too short, but I've tried adjusting the straps both up and down, and I cannot fasten it by myself. Also, the straps are really wide, and the right one is always falling off. And the straps that connect the shoulder straps to the front of the carrier squish my boobs....

Has anyone else had to deal with these issues? I bought it to use on a trip to Chicago next week, but I think I might just return it...
