We're looking at going to Disney in the spring with my family and want to get some kind of villa (3 bedrooms if possible)with at least a kitchenette. I'd love to be onsite at Disney, but we're open to nearby hotels also. Any recommendations?

We just stayed at the Sheraton Vistana villas a couple of weeks ago. It was a great location (well within 15 minutes of WDW), and the place was REALLY nice. Our unit was 2 BR, but they may have bigger units. Just make to sure to request the newer buildings, because apparently the older buildings (which are currently being renovated) are pretty run-down.

Old Key West is the best deal and the most spacious, hands down. Quick transport to Downtown Disney, you need the bus or a car to get to the parks, though.

check out DVC rentals - oftentimes cheaper than booking for cash!

Staying at Disney is best for small kiddos, but if you want to stay stay off property, I second the Sheraton Vistana Villas (DIFFERENT FROM VISTSANA RESORT!!!) St. Augustine block of villas is the nicest, and its by the pirate pool. Publix grocery store is only a 3 min drive or less.
15 min drive to MK parking, but remember, you have to pay for parking, at about $20/day at the parks. Parking at the villas is free.

Third vote for vistana villas. Very nice and affordable as well. Probably 1/10th of the cost of an onsite Disney resort.
