We have built in shelves in our living room. They are really deep though at 17.5 inches deep.

As of right now we only have a few family pictures up. DH and I recently sorted through all of our pictures and found some we want framed, just need to figure out sizes and have them printed. We plan to have a few on our mantle, tv stand, and bookcases, as well as hanging some in various hallways.
I am also asking for a digital picture frame for Christmas so we can have tons of pictures on that. That way all of the ones that aren't print worthy but still make me happy will be seen.

@Umbreon: I think it will be fine! Just push them more towards the front of the shelves!

We have a gallery wall with my LO's one year photos displayed and then i have another wall with 3 floating shelves that i have our yearly canvases on. We are about to get new photos this weekend so I guess i'll be mixing it up shortly unless i add more floating shelves.

I recently bought two 9-picture collage frames from Pottery Barn for our living room. They were a bit pricey, but are so beautiful. I love them!
