I love making paper products and DIY'd endlessly for my wedding 3.5 years ago. Since then, my gocco has been collecting dust but I would love to DIY my Christmas cards this year and am looking for a little inspiration.

I like these, and you could use up scraps to make the ornaments -

@mrs.shinerbock: Those are all so pretty, I love all the circles.
@looch: yes!!!! I was a little nuts over paper during y wedding and pretty much gocco'd everything I could get my hands on. Save the dates, wedding invitations, overnight bags, the works!

I'm making cards from materials at paper source. 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 red cards with a 4 x 4 (taped on with pretty gold dot tape) photo. I will hand write Merry Christmas with a gold pen and our names. The envelope is square Kraft paper and I'm addressing with red pens. Maybe I'll mock up a prototype and post it.
It was Ms idea to DIY this year and I came up with it in store.

I also fell in love with paper stuff during my wedding planning! I have a yudu and I'm planning to use it for my christmas cards too. I'm going to design some sort of Scandinavian paper-cut with a holiday greeting and print it on Kraft paper with white ink. I also want to do calligraphy for the addresses.
Here's my inspiration:

@looch: there is so much fun to be had, you should try it!
@youboots: such a gorgeous picture, I love it.
@TemperanceBrennan: that is so pretty, gorgeous. I fear the day is coming when I may have to make the switch to yudu as gocco supplies are running out. Do you love it? I never even thought to look on minted for inspiration.
@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: those are great, I especially love the third one, the wreath is so charming.

@plantains: Thanks! I do like the yudu, but the replacement screens are expensive. I am looking into the products that remove the design so you can re-use them. I haven't used it is such a long time, I'm looking forward to getting more use out of it.
