@Mrsk: such a adorable family costume!!!
I still need to sew the trolley patch on her hoodie. Oops better get on that! But otherwise her costume is all set. Semi DIY with reusable pieces is my favorite kind of costume. I need to buy myself and DD2 tiger ears and I have a daisy button to affix to hers. She's baby Margaret!

LO is obsessed with bees! Appropriate, no? The wings, leotard and striped leggings are store bought. I made the tutu and antennae (which have a tendency to fall forward because they're too big--oops).

I finally got around to starting my son's costume today - he'll be the Man in the Yellow Hat from Curious George. Semi-homemade costume - found yellow rain pants from LL Bean, I dyed a button down shirt today from Old Navy, and made a tie out of felt. Now I have to work on the hat this week and I may possibly try to find brown boots he can wear all winter, but not a deal breaker if I don't find anything. Also trying to think of a way to attach his stuffed George to him so he doesn't have to hand carry it all night.

@littlecasita1122: adorable. My LO loves George! What about Velcro-ing George by his hands and feet to his treat bucket of bag?

Finally sewed her trolley patch on! Excited to show DD1 her hoodie! She was SO excited to just see the red hoodie w/o the trolley patch!

C was Vanellope von Schweetz from Wreck it Ralph. H is going to be Wreck it Ralph, but I still need to dye the overalls I found at the thrift store.

I made DD a Chewbacca inspired sleeper to match DH. I figure it's not too bad for a 3 week old. I told her when she's old enough to have an opinion I'll do better than felt and hot glue.

All these costumes are so cute!!!
We finished our costumes last weekend when we had a Halloween race we ran in. I wanted to dye the long underwear I wore peach, but ran out of time.

Final final products. Fox was made by me. I sewed on the lace on my maternity tank and made my hook bracelet (a friend of mine actually made the hook itself). And I knit DH's Smee hat. (And Peter Pan was store bought.)
We didn't get any pictures all together
