Our lo's bedtime routine is bath (if it's bath night), naked time, lotion, clothes, books, songs and rocking, then bed. My husband and I both do bedtime routine every night. I am usually the one doing everything but he is always there with me because he wants to be a part of it. Sometimes he will read to her and rock her but he is always in the room with us. It's our sweet family time at night.
Does your so take part in the bedtime routine with you?

Actually he does almost all of it! Since I'm home with them all day, this is his time to be with them one on one without me. It's also nice, because I get a break

DH participates all the way up until the end and then I do her last bottle and put her down.

Yep! As long as we're both home it's a team effort. DH does the bath while I get the bottle ready. I wrap up LO in his towel and bring him to his room. While I do the baby massage, LO will hold and drink his bottle while DH dries his hair. Then we both put his jammies and sleepsack on. Then we both say night, night and I love you and DH puts LO in the crib. We love bedtime!

We were both involved for a long time. Then we kind of split duties (he would do bath, I would lotion and diaper, he would dress him, I would nurse him to drowsy, he would rock him to sleep). Now (over a year) it is whomever is home and isn't occupied with other things like making dinner.

No. With DH's work schedule he's only home for bedtime on his days off. So for the days he's home, unless he does the whole thing from start to finish, he just ends up distracting her and she doesn't want to settle in.

We divide and conquer every night. He almost always giver her her nightly bath, then it's lotion, pj's, sleep sack. He calls me in to nurse her right before we put her down. Lately if I nurse her before her bath, he just does everything. I'd say in her 7 months, I've given her maybe 7-8 baths, DH has done the rest. It's his thing.

Team effort - we do naked time, bath, lotion, PJs sleep sack with music, bottle/rocking. Usually DH does the bath (actually takes a bath with him) so he's toweling himself off, etc. and I do the rest, though DH comes in and helps with the PJs/lotion etc. Sometimes I do the bath and DH does the rest. Whoever isn't on bottle duty is on dinner duty!

I wish. I will ask DH, but I'm the bedtime person. Occasionally when she wakes up crying soon after I put down DH will go sing to her, but it's pretty much me.

I used to do bedtime except for the evening or two a week that I was out. Now that we have two kids he does naps and bedtime for the older one (when he's not at work) and I do for the baby.

We work together to put LO down. I'm in charge of bath time, and DH will lotion and dress him in PJs and brush teeth. We both take turns reading books.

When he's home, he always joins (I'm the one who does everything though). He usually gets home late though bc of work and school.
