I've been pretty open with family, friends, and my medical team that this is our last pregnancy (will be our second child). Friends and family have taken this in stride but doctors seem to. E having a hard time.
We just had a referral appointment to maternal fetal medicine (everything was fine) and the doctor kept saying how young I was (31) and that we could easily have lots more kids. I said we were closing the baby factory after this one and he protested a little and kept saying we were so young. Do doctors ever try to convince you to have more kids?
Most people in this area seem to have 1-2 but I've noticed most of the docs in my Obgyn prCtice have 3-4 (their website has profiles on the doctors and their families).
Maybe they are just trying to drum up future business?
