There are no juniors on either side. I kinda want a future son to be a junior but DH isn't on board!

Nope not in my family. My BIL is a junior, however they were not planning to carry on the tradition if they had a boy.

I know of a girl who just had a daughter a couple days ago and made the daughter a junior. Mom and daughter have same name.......

No juniors in our family! Before our generation it was all Korean names so all males of the same generation shared one Korean character.

My dad was a junior but didn't have any sons. DH has his dad's middle name as his first name and first name as his middle name.
@MrsMcD: Please tell me the daughter just has the same name and isn't Jane Smith, Jr.?

My dad is a junior and my brother is a third. I'm not really into the junior thing, so I'm glad that it's not a thing in my husband's family!

The daughter is Jane Smith, Jr. According to instagram, at least. But I believe it truly is Jane Smith, Jr.

My grandpa, uncle and cousin all have the same name. My little brother is a junior as well! None on DH's side and he wasn't interested.

I'm Italian. I cannot tell you how many Anthony, John, or michaels there are in my family.
I'm pretty sure were at least on Anthony VI.

DH is a Junior and wants a III (if this babe is a boy) but I am not convinced.

Nope! My uncle has the same name as my grandpa, weird cause he isn't the 1st boy, but not a junior.
DH is and hates it.

We have talked about having a junior, but it doesn't run in our immediate family. DH has a cousin who is a junior, though.

DH is a junior, so if we have a son it'll be a III.
On my side, the tradition is to name after both grandfathers. so there are a million named James, but most have a different middle name.

My grandfather, uncle and cousin are Sr., Jr., and iii but thats about it. My dad and brother have the same name but backwards. (Dad is firstname middle and brother is middle firstname).
DH's brother is a jr but DH doesn't care to have a jr.

My sister just named her son after his father's looong lineage of names. Her son is now "The 5th" of the same name. So fancy! This is the first time its ever happened in our family.

My husband is a junior, but we won't be having a third (neither of us like the idea of a third). He does want to pass on the middle name though.

Couldn't really be done in my family b/c my parents are the first generation to have English names, and my dad had two girls. I don't think I'll be doing it either.

DH didn't want a jr and I really did. He settled on same first name. DH is Gregory Francis and DS is Gregory James.
Only jr in our families is my cousin. My grandad is Alexander with no middle name and my uncle is Alexander David, his son my cousin is Alexander David jr.

There are no juniors in either of our families.

They do. DH is the youngest, but his oldest brother is a III, and his son is a IV. My mom's brother is a III, and my mom was named for her mom. Actually, on my mom's side, the oldest boy and girl were named for their parents, and DH's oldest brother and sister were named for his parents!
