The only acronyms I know and use are the ones you listed! I don't use BD and DTD though (what's DTD?!)
It doesn't bother me, but seriously makes my head hurt trying to figure out what everything means Usually I just X out of whatever I'm reading if it's too much for me.

I hate BD. So cutesy. Yuck.

I'm 80/20 on it. Sometimes, I wish people would just spell the words out. I don't know how many times I've had to Google (or ask the poster) the acronym to figure out what people are saying. This applies to text messages and FB as well. I'm okay with the acronyms for in-laws though. Weird...

@chopsuey119: I think dtd is do the deed or "have sex." You know, because we're not adults and can't say the terms "have sex" out in the open.

I despise the terms dh, dd, ds, etc. I would never call my husband, child, whatever darling, so why would I use it as an acronym when posting about that person? I just use his nickname I use on my blog or "my husband."

I don't like using DH instead of husband. I really don't like BD.

I go with the flow and use them (they're shorter especially when using the phone to post!) but truth be told I'm always thinking how silly these conversations would sound if we actually said things like "dear husband" to someone in real life!

I also don't like BD. And I always giggle when people say they O'd because I think "orgasm" even though I know they're saying "ovulated."

I never really knew what AF was until recently. I still dont' get why it's called an Aunt Flow. Sounds kinda gross!

My main issue is with the term "breeder" - um, I just find that really offensive. I almost didn't finish reading the article because of it.

I don't really like AF or BD, but I've used them, for sure. And I can't stand DH, DS, DD. I just write "my husband" or use his name on my blog. I'd certainly never call him "dear husband" in real life, so....

I don't care for BD either but I really can't stand DH, DS, DD, etc. It's just too much for me but it doesn't upset me when other people use it. I do think acronyms are a time saver for the most part though.

I don't mind them, only because when I'm replying about my trying to conceive issues from my phone, its so easy to explain in a few short letters. But if I were replying from a computer, or if I were writing to anyone in real life, I'd definitely stay away from acronyms. DH bothers me, but I use it because its habit now. BD I really dislike. But again, I'll use it if the context is right.

I can't stand BD, it's silly. Every last detail of your reproductive cycle is being discussed but god forbid if you say sex.

AF is the one that really gets me. Are we 13? It seems beyond juvenile. And then I find myself using it because I can't be bothered typing out words. sigh.

I do have to say though that AF and BD are handy at work - won't raise any flags!

I don't like reading them, but I like using them because typing on the iPhone SUCKS!!! Takes forever because of all the typos. Except AF. I'm like Bluestripe Bee, I'm not a fan of "period", so I'd rather use AF.
