Rubies' post last night got me thinking - Do most of your friends have kids? Did your group of friends change after you had kids?
I imagine ours will stay relatively the same. We are the next to last to have kids - all our other friends already have two or more!

no one in my group has kids yet... that's part of the reason we're waiting. We don't want to be the ONLY ones, so we're hoping someone else goes first.

Nope! We have some acquaintances with kids, but most of our close group do not have any. I made my closest friend promise me that she'll keep inviting me to things, and she in turn made me promise not to talk about the kid 100% of the time lol!

Most don't. We have 2 friend couples that do, and I see us getting closer, while we're getting more distant from the other friends. Sad to see it happen that way

It's split down the middle, however those who don't are either trying or will be in the next year or two. My group didn't really change all that much after having a child, but it did change some when I got married.

Two years ago, only one person in our group had kids. Now, almost everyone either has a kid or is currently pregnant. There is only one couple other than DH and I that do not have children and are not pregnant, either. I kind of feel left out.

We have a couple friends that have kids, but a majority do not. I think we'll keep the same ring of friends because our schedule is so different from theirs right now already sans kids and we still make it work. I don't think having kids should change it much, guess we'll see.
