At my company, we get 5 sick days that do not roll over so people always call in sick in December!

We all save up our vacation and personal days and there are very few people here in Dec. I worked a 3-day week last week, am doing so next week as well and may do it the week after...or work every other day or something...

Not really related but at my work 75% of the residents and 50% of the staff got the stomach flu. Everyone was throwing up everywhere. So ya we are getting a ton of sick calls this December!

Yes! Everyone is sick here in our office. I called in Monday and Tuesday. Another girl left early one afternoon, and another person took 3 days off thos week. It's bad!

@MediaNaranja: Oh trust me I still am. With my vomit phobia it was just too much for my anxiety. I only work PRN for them so once i heard everyone has the flu I didn't pick up any extra shifts. Knock on wood I am not sick yet! I hate being sick for Christmas.
