My doorbell rang last night at 9:20 and it was my next door neighbor with a potted plant and gift bag for my LOs! Super nice but kinda late for a visit! 
Do people come over to your house after bedtime?

Not unless they've given us a head's up! I would be so surprised if a neighbour randomly rang our doorbell at 9:20pm!

No! And I would be upset if they did! I don't even think people should call other people after 9:00!!

No surprise visits after bedtime. Guests usually knock gently on the door and don't ring the doorbell when it's late.

Not usually, but it wouldn't bother me too much. My kids can sleep through anything once they're passed out for the night. They are more sensitive to noise in the early morning hours.

@Andrea: Same with my LOs...but my dog is a little punk and he likes to lunge at people at the door!

I went to bed at 8:30pm last night, so I would hard core rage on some jerk ringing our doorbell

Only friends who have been invited come over after bedtime to hang out and socialize. It isn't ever a drop-in situation and they know to text when they arrive or to knock gently.
This makes me glad we don't have a doorbell! -
