I have a coworker who always tells me that I look just like DH...like brother and sister. So disturbing!

Not that we look alike, but that we make a cute "set" lol. We're both on the shorter side and smaller people in general, so people say we fit well.

yep! we get it all the time. we're not even the same nationality (he's vietnamese i'm taiwanese). i can kind of see where they're coming from cause we both have big eyes and big smiles but still kind of disturbing! haha

We sometimes get this. I don't think we look alike but we both are fair and have freckles. To me, the similarities end there

Nope - he is blonde/blue eyed and fair skin... I have olive skin with dark hair/eyes

Nope! (Because we don't.) I know a few couples that look like they could be brother and sister. I *never* tell them that to their face though b/c I'd imagine they would find it pretty offensive. It sounds like your co-worker is lacking in tact.

No. But I'm surprised, because we do look alike. Our families are both eastern European Jews, so were both pale skin, dark hair, we oddly gain and lose weight at the same time, wear geeky glasses. It's weird.

Nope, but I get a ton of comments about how I look (and act) exactly like his sister. That makes BOTH me and DH feel really....weird.

Nope, but we really don't. We both have blue eyes but his hair is reddish blonde and mine is almost black.

if people think that about you and your SO, they should probably keep it to themselves--it's kind of weird to say that!
as for us--no, we don't look anything alike. we're different races, and he's almost a foot taller.

disturbingly yes. One time we were in Shanghai and a sales person at the mall asked if we were siblings and his sister (who was the only one that could speak chinese) said I was his wife, and the sales rep responds "Oh i thought you (talking to his sister) were his gf, and she was his sister".

Nope, not at all. But his sister and BIL have some similar characteristics, but I'd never say they look alike though.
