No. I absolutely can't stand artificial scents, they give me a headache. DH, on the other hand, likes air fresheners, candles, Febreze...ugh. I think he understands not to use them, now, though since my feeling ill outweighs his sense of smell.

Yep. We both like clean scents in the summer and pumpkin and evergreen scents in the fall and winter.

We have different tastes but usually there's enough overlap to make it work. I prefer floral or citrus in the summer and pumpkin-y spicey scents in the winter. He generally prefers the linen-y type, cologne-ish, or sweets (like cake scented), none of which I love in general. But there are always a few that we can agree on. Though to be honest, since I'm the one who cares, it's more a matter of him deciding which of the ones I like he can stand.

I don't think DH cares about scents, at all I have a few diffusers at home and I don't even think he notices! I don't wear perfume either.

He prob would not like overly strong floral scents.

@Mrs. Sunshine: Kind of similar to you - we settled on a gingerbread scent that is sweet enough for me, and spicy enough for him. Which one did you find that you both like?

My husband HATES artificial scents, I love spicy/warm scents. I try to limit them a little bit for him though.

@Mrs. Sunshine: Yeah, I just really can't with the scents. DH hates it because I can't even stand the scent of laundry detergent/dryer sheets so I get the unscented stuff. He complains because he likes his clothes to SMELL clean, and I'm like but...they ARE clean! They're just not scented! And if you have to smell your stuff to know if it's clean, you need to organize your clothes better!

My husband loves scents but doesn't really understand the only one at a time rule. We have a spicy orange candle in the main room and whenever we have company over he magically finds one of our other candles for the bathroom. It was only when we were saying goodbyes last month that I realized that our entryway smelled like lily-of-the-valley meets Shalimar. He claims to prefer the "layered" fragrance.
