You would think that having 4 sisters I would look like one of them. Nope! We all look soooo different and barely look like sisters, possibly cousins. Each of us share our parent's features but don't stand out looking like either one.

Elliot looks like a good mix of my husband and I. As he gets older, he starts to look a little more like me.

Not at all. But we're adopted, so that makes sense.

I think it is part of the reason I'm so excited to have my own children - I've never looked like anyone in my family, so sharing a resemblance feels really special.

There are certain traits we all kind of share but for the most part no. I'm the oldest of 4 and depending on which of my other siblings I am with we can look similar but the four of us do not look too much alike. We have two who are more light complected with blue eyes and they look pretty similar and then my sister and I are darker with dark eyes.

We don't see the resemblance, but people often ask if my sister and I are twins. I find it funny, though, because then they go on to say that I look just like my mom and she looks just like my dad. Hmm...

My sister and I look NOTHING alike. Growing up, I looked like a carbon copy of my dad, but I began to resemble my mom more starting in my 20s. My sister doesn't look like anyone in my family!

My husband and his brother don't look like they're related either, and Claire looks EXACTLY like her uncle. So my husband and I are always joking that BebeDeux will look like my sister — then, neither of our kids will look like us!

Yes and no. You can definitely tell that my older brother and I are siblings because we have similar features - fair skin,, brown eyes and blondish hair. My younger brother looks nothing like either of us, or my parents for that matter! He has reddish brown hair, blue eyes and is covered in freckles.

haha, my brother and I look IDENTICAL! People who don't know we're siblings figure it out pretty quick because we look so similar!

Yes, we all look alike. Same eye color, hair color and facial structure. Even more so when we were younger. Two of my brothers have kids, and of the 5 boys between them, 4 of them are spitting images of their fathers, and the 5th looks just like his mother. There's only one biological girl in the mix, and she looks exactly like me when I was her age.

I have several step-nieces as well, who I refer to just as nieces, because we might as well be blood-related. The two of them that are sisters could not look or act more different. One of them has her father's (my stepbrother) dark, Hispanic coloring (dark hair, dark eyes, very tan), but her mother's face. The other has her mother's fair skin, light hair and light eyes, but with her father's face. Both of them are gorgeous.

@TheFixIts: I'm also adopted and have the same excitement to have my own children to see resemblances! I have an identical twin and it's cool how our children have striking resemblances. Our kids were born almost exactly a year apart, she has a girl and I have a son. There are some pictures where they could be twins!

My brother and I have the same smile, but that's about it. I looked identical to my dad when I was born though. Lol
