@MrsB, @Lawbee11, @Yoursilverlining: Hubs and I are 25 years apart so imagine the comments. I have gotten the "is he your dad?" a couple of times, but everyone who knows us or spends time with us ends up saying "I can just see how happy you two are and how much in love you are together" and that way of looking like we belong together is far more important to me.

Yes. We're both Chinese and have athletic builds. Our first year of dating FIL said I looked like a younger version of his wife. He meant it as a compliment and I'm not offended, but I totally don't see the resemblance! lol!

Yes, we look like we go together...some people even say we look alike.

DH and I never get that we look alike, but I think we "match." He is prettier than me a lot of days - which is frustrating!!! But I still think we "go."

Kind of? Except that lots of people think hubs is my brother. Or, more recently, my nephew.
He looks very very young for his age and post baby, I look a bit older and chubbier. So sad.

People tell us all the time that we are a cute couple. However, I gained about 50 lbs after we got married and now I am bigger than DH.
He still weighs more but I am wider, and I am a half-inch taller, so sometimes I worry that we look like of those weird couples where the wife is a giant. -
I've been told that we have "couples face" which is I guess that we look good together or look like each other? I don't think we look like each other AT ALL. I'm better looking.

Yes we do! Not in terms of physical features because we're different races, but we have similar personalities and that comes across in our facial expressions and body language (as well as how we dress, etc.). When I see couples who look really "in sync", those are the things I notice, much more than coloring or body type.

Haha nope! He's a 6'3" Blond German Irish and I'm a 5'5" tiny Asian!
But I think that's what makes us more endearing.

Not at all! Different ethnicities (I'm Caucasian and he's Chinese) and a 15 inch height difference. Definitely an odd couple.

Probably not. We're of different races, he's built & lean, I'm chubby. We both have nice eyes/brows & full lips. He's far better looking than I am at this point. When we first got together, I was slightly better looking than him. I have frequently thought recently that I don't look like I deserve to be with him, so I guess that means we probably don't look like we belong together.

@mrs. bird: I bet it's all in your head! I've seen you post that your DH is a personal trainer (I think!) and I'm sure that physically he inadvertently puts a lot of pressure on you to critique your own physicality, but I am pretty sure that you are being too hard on yourself!!! I feel the same pressure because my DH is a gym rat and he's got a pretty face, so I always feel inferior to him or like I have to always be on top of my game. Sure I can clean up okay, but he is effortlessly pretty, and I am not! So I feel you on wondering if you look inadequate, but I think it's just us being women and having an insecure/inferiority complex! It's a million times worse pregnant, btw...I get fat and he gets ripped- so be prepared for that, lady!!! Even though it hurt my heart a little to read that you sometimes think you don't deserve to be with him, I have felt the same way a lot of times:( Totally feel you!

I think we do; we get told all the time even by compete strangers that we're cute together.
We both like to work out; we're neither chubby not skinny. We're both European descent, dark hair, green eyes and we're both fairly tall. However DH has a strong NY accent and I have a Midwest accent!! Haha

I think so, both dark eyes and hair. Hubby has darker complexion than me, but we are both on the small side of average in build and height. LO is a blend of us it's hard to say if she looks more like one or the other.

I'm kind of afraid sometimes that we don't match. I'm 6 years older than him, and I'm chubby and he's fit. I'm also tall and he's more average height, so we're just a couple inches apart.

I think we go together, but I wonder if others think we don't. I'm short and he is tall. I'm Asian and he is not, but I think we look good together.
