We're a permanent absentee ballot household, and it usually goes like this:
DH: Want to fill out our ballots?
Me: I already completed mine.
DH: What? Now what am I supposed to do?
Suffice it to say, we always vote the same way. {I'm more passionate and informed on political issues/candidates and we have the same beliefs. Plus he's a little lazy.}

Not usually. We know to cut our conversations/arguments short, if it turns too political. We've had many 'agree to disagree' endings. We can at least cancel each other out. Although, he wouldn't vote if it weren't for me telling him to go out and vote. Maybe I should let him forget!
Our relationship isn't all about politics. We have other reasons on why we married each other. Yeah, I wish we had similar beliefs on politics which is probably why we argue about it. We are both trying to show each other our point of view and hoping to change them. I've come to realize that his stance isn't going to change and he is not going to change mine.
