I rarely turn down an invite....parties are fun! It kinda sucks to take the kids on my own but we always have a good time.

I usually go because it's a lot of planning that goes into a party. I went to a babyshower where only 3 friends showed up and the rest were family. Lots of food were prepared but people declined at the last minute. It was her 3rd child but first boy. I felt so bad for my good friend.

Yep! I love seeing my friends and family. I'd probably pass on a shower right now though, unless it was for a super close friend. And I did pass on a few kids bday parties.
