I don't buy books so I tend to borrow from the library when I'm in a reading mood. But only digital media because I'm horrible about returning books on time!

All the time! I love the library. We're lucky in that we live across the street from the second-biggest in the city, so it's really easy for me. DH also works in the building, so it makes returning books easy too.

Constantly. But I also work p/t at a library so its easy to return/renew items since I'm there so often. Its also hard because I see so many things I want to read! I just finished a book and im feeling overwhelmed by all the choices, ha.

I borrow books for the kids nearly every Thursday but I use the media library for Nashville (not the local) for my books and audio. My local library just doesn't have the same selection as the 'big city'!

I'm going to start! I don't want to buy pregnancy books so I figured I should just borrow!

I do but I can never finish books in only 3 weeks.

The library is an amazing resource. I borrow regular books, books on cd to listen to in my car, and kindle books from their downloadable loans site- a lot of libraries have ebook lending programs now, definitely something to look into!

The digital media library loans have been a lifesaver for me! I have such trouble getting stuff back in time to avoid fines. My library is kind of far and out of the way. I love how the book just disappears when its time to return it!

All the time. We borrow tons of kids books to see what LO likes too.

@Mrs. Pen: most libraries let you renew online!

I do! I go online and browse, put everything I want on hold, then go pick it up when it's ready! Something else I do is go to Barnes and noble and take pictures of all the books I want to read and then go on the library site to find them! Saves a lot of $$! I can't remember the last time I bought a book!

I borrow 2 books on CD every month. I'm embarrassed to admit that I haven't figured out how to borrow e-books yet!

Yep! I pretty much only get e-books from the library. And a little Kindle tip that works with my system at least. If you keep Wi-fi off, the book doesn't get returned when its due, only when you turn wi-fi back on (they've made this harder on the newer Kindles, but still possible).

We go every Monday! I only recently started getting books for myself. My kiddos get mad at me if we don't go to the library once a week.

Nope. I need to start doing that since I pass the library every day. I love buying books!

@Mrs.Someone: I do this too! I don't feel bad about it because it doesn't keep the book from being available for someone else

i do, but mostly ebooks because i forget to return them! i had to kill a mockingbird for months and owed $10.

@Mrs.Someone: haha that used to be the the way with my library and the nook. But it no longer works and when the time is up the material is no longer available. I'm thinking it's somehow linked to the internal clock of the e-reader.

Yes! We libraries.
@tinyperson: My husband works at our library, too, so that makes checking out/returning items a cinch.
@mrs. pen: Why is it that I can finish books that I buy in less than 3 weeks but not books that I check out from the library?
