DH isn't home so I'm going the peanut butter and jelly sandwich route tonight. Do you cook for one?

Nope. I will gladly have a bowl of cereal and take the night off cooking.

No way. It's hard enough to cook for two, I always make too much and then end up wasting food. I'll usually just have breakfast for dinner if I'm alone, or pasta.

Nope, I hardly ever cook anyway (DH does the cooking at our house), so if he's gone, its a sandwich night.

Not usually. If I know I'll be having a dinner alone I'll try to cook enough to have leftovers the day before.

Not usually, unless I'm craving something DH doesn't like!

I just cook simple stuff like ramen if I'm alone. Or eat a sandwich or something. Maybe even order fast food.

If it's just for a night or two, I'll eat ramen or a sandwich or order takeout. DH has been gone for work for 2 weeks so I've been cooking every few nights. I hate cooking for one. I've wasted way too much food!

For a while DH worked until 7ish. So i would cook so that he came home to some dinner. But other times, grill cheese and soup is the way to go.

Nope! If DH isn't there, I will make DS something to eat, but normally won't even eat. And what I make is just simple!
