I try not to but sometimes if there's deadline I will.
Looks like I will be for the next few weeks.
How about you?

Yep. Often times it stays in my work bag by the front door. :S

I work from home 3 days a week...does that count? Haha but if I didn't work from home I wouldn't.

I wish I had work to bring home... Jealous. But then again, I'd have to have work to begin with...

As a teacher I'm always bringing work home whether its lesson plans, grading papers, cutting out laminated stuff, etc. There are not enough work hours in a day to get everything done! Some nights, especially after a long day I get bitter about bringing work home. I've been trying to be better about finding a balance though!

I do, mostly on the weekends but sometimes during the week. Sometimes the work collects dust but I always bring it.

I work from home and the first few months it was really hard to leave work "at work." I've since gotten very good at not working after a certain time unless there is a pressing deadline.

I sometimes stay a little late but am lucky to not have to bring work home.

Same with @yellowbird - I can't bring work home, which is great. Though sometimes I've stayed late to finish stuff up, but when I'm home, I'm home and don't think about work at all!

Yep. I'm on call. 24/7, so I take a lot of calls from the field. I try to let them go during dinner and while the baby is still up, but sometimes weekend day time calls are unavoidable. I do reports sometimes too. Like now . . .

@Boopers: Ditto. As a teacher, I always have work to do. i teach high school English and the paperload is ridiculous. I don't know what I'm going to do as a working mom!

Physically, unless I'm on call, no, I don't bring work home. But mentally, that's a whole other story. I often have cases that stick with me for weeks.

No, that would be frowned upon in my line of work occasionally I have a few work related tasks I do on my own time, but for the most part, when I leave work I'm done.

Yep! Depends on if I have a client meeting deadline and what time of year. May, August, and November are my crazy busy months.

Yes. Ugh. Some nights/weekends it doesn't leave the bag. Other nights/weekends, not so much =/
