I am a teacher and try not to bring work home...grading, etc. But, I do enjoy really working on extra fun lessons for my classroom after LO has gone to bed. I probably work outside of work way more than I should still.
Do you bring work home if you are a WOHM?

Nope. There isn't much that needs to be done after I leave work so it happily stays there.

@prettylizy: Same! Luckily there really isn't much of anything that I could bring back with me (whew!). I'll get emails from customers occasionally before/after "normal" work hours, but usually it's nothing that I can't/don't tend to the next day at work.

Naaaah, I leave my patients at the hospital. 
But if I had a job I could bring home, I probably would. Such as a teacher... :))

I do, but I don't get any grading done. I do best when I grade at achool. Unfortunately, there just aren't enough hours in the day.

@jennimac i hate grading papers! i always make the kids grade their own papers, ha! i love working on fun lessons from home though.

@matador84: grading is the thing I'm struggling with! I wish I could have them grade it. I was out some last week and we got behind. Tmrw I will have them grade it themselves!

I often bring work home. I'm a teacher, too, (first year...) and with 130+ students, bringing home grading and planning is almost inevitable! It was definitely a rude awakening after working 8 years at a financial institution where I legally couldn't bring anything home with me.

Yes. I'm an accounting supervisor so I usually bring home reconciliations where I'm literally matching numbers on two different pieces of paper. Exciting stuff :\

Occasionally. I have my work email connected to my phone inbox, so I see stuff now. If it's an immediate thing, I'll look at it, if not I'll save it for the next day.
Last Friday, I was in a cab on my way to the peds office when I got a message from one of my consultants. I told her what was up. During my LO's 2.5 hour post shots nap, I got her records and contracts in order.

Nope. They don't let us install the programs we need for our job outside work, so it isn't possible for me to bring it home!

I'm still a student teacher but I am constantly lesson planning while at home. I get most of my grading done at school but never have time to lesson plan. I am hoping that planning becomes easier/less time consuming once I have some more time under my belt!

I try very hard not to. So far I've only brought work home once since Baby Ninja was born...I know that it will probably happen a little more often than that, but I like it to be about my family when I get home.

Most nights I work for 1-2 hours after my LO goes to sleep - I could probably get by without it, but it makes me feel so much more on top of things than I would otherwise.

I don't but then again there isn't any work for me to bring home. As a detention officer, I kinda gotta leave work at work, even if work would love to leave with me. lol
