Haven't yet (except for one sleeper, by accident). But I have been tempted!

I haven't really, but it's a good idea! I did go buy a new size in my favorite sleeper though because it was soooooooo cute, I didn't want him to grow out of it (and when he does, I'll just give him the bigger size, hehe).

@Adira: they will let us dress them in clothes with animals on their butts until they are at least in their teens right??
@autumnlove; I haven't yet, but I have regrets about NOT doing this with LO's coming home from the hospital set. It was Carters and super cute (including the matching pjs) and he only got to wear it a handful of times.

Kind of, I've bought overalls, pants and shorts in different sizes of all the same print, lol.

Not bought, but I was gifted the same outfit in 2 different sizes. Actually, I have a few outfits like that!

@Adira: OMG!! Baby butt with animals. My favorite. We have that same play gym!
I've actually been getting some favorite designs of items in onesies and t-shirts for when he starts wearing 1-2Ts.

Yes, I will definitely do this. We have warm weather year round.

@cascademom: haha, I LOVE baby butts with animals! I wish I had more like them! And how does your LO like the play gym? Xander LOVES his - especially the mirror!
I wish I had had the foresight to buy MORE outfits in different sizes. Xander's now growing out of everything 3 months and I realized I don't have a ton of 6 months clothes for him and I'm so sad about the stuff he can no longer fit into!

I'm guilty of double sleepers in newborn to 3 month but that's it, I just replace with cuter stuff for the next age range

Yes! There was a sleeper with a strawberry on the butt. We liked it so much that my husband went out and bought it in every size. We were so sad when Chloe grew out of the 12m, and they don't make it any larger than that.
Now we buy any jammies than have strawberries on them, and have totally agreed that any future kids we have WILL wear the strawberry butt jammies... even if we have a boy. We loved the jammies THAT MUCH.

@Adira: He still loves it at 11 months old. The mirror is definitely a favorite of his.
When he got close to switching up sizes, I would go through what we had and see if it items needed to be added. It didn't help that I love Old Navy and stocked up on clothes there for him. Lately, I'm stocking up on sleepers more than anything. He's close to being out of the Carter's 9 month ones now. I'll be switching his 9 month stuff up for 12 month full time soon.

@Adira: I love the animals on the butt! My favorite sleeper for R right now has ruffles.

Not for LO but I do it for myself! If I find a pair of pants (especially work pants) or a really flattering top, I'll go back and buy a couple of more in different colours. It feels so good to wear clothes that fit your body the way it should.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: omg we looooved the strawberry one nd bought a years worth! Lol
If I find something I really love I will buy a few sizes but it has to be on sale

I just realized we have the same Baby Gap leggings in different sizes. But basics don't count, right? Our duplicate was the kitty on the butt sleeper too! Carter's has been having some good sales! I might buy some duplicates!

I don't usually buy additional sizes but sometimes I really regret that I didn't, especially of the item ended up being especially cute or useful...

@Rubies: oh yes, I do this too for me.
Totally guilty of stocking up on identical items or buying the same thing in different colors, especially when there are good sales.

Yes, I wish I had thought to do this sooner! I especially like to do this with pajamas, but I have learned that if I love an outfit I need to get the rest of the sizes available.

I do this a lot with jammies. Especially if its a sleeper with a zipper - those are hard for me to find!
