We knew we were having a girl, but still bought tons of gender neutral stuff partly because I knew it would have a longer life (in terms of hand-me-downs). And i am not crazy about pink. We also didn't tell anyone what we were having so we avoided getting lots of super girly stuff as gifts. We basically tricked everyone into giving us gender neutral stuff!

I bought some neutral sleep sacks and more neutral onesies before I found out the gender of baby 2!

Our big stufff...car seat, bouncer, etc is gender neutral. We still have a ton of blankets and stuff that is also gender neutral. Clothing, we have a ton of boy stuff, but also some things like buntings that are gender neutral as well.

We originally did not know the gender, so we had some neutral pajamas, sleep sacks, onesies etc. I do have a ton of girl stuff though, I think its so much cuter than neutral. We do, however, try and buy neutral when we can. For example, Christmas toys, we bought toys that a boy or girl could play with. We stayed away from all pink, girly things.

I try, but gender neutral girl's clothes are hard to find! For bigger things I definitely try and buy gender neutral though.

I did but only cause I tend to like gender neutral things to begin with. Plus it's easier to dress a girl up in boy stuff than the other way around I think. I bought a blue stroller but I think it works for a girl too.

We are team green anyway so all the beginning stuff will be neutral. If it is a boy we will have tons of hand me downs so prob won't even buy that much for him. If it is a girl I don't think anyone in the family will be able to resist buying little dresses, since it would be the first girl.

@Mrs. Pen: yes! Mostly just white gerber onesies and blankets but we didn't use a lot of the tan, light green or light yellow clothing that I thought we could use. When I pick out her outfits, I am more attracted to lavender and coral colors over green and yellow!

Gear is all gender neutral!

Sleepers and sleep sacks (and swaddles before) are all gender neural except the ones ppl gifted us.

But most of his clothes are boy clothes. They were primarily bought by my mom. Some stuff is gender neutral which I bought.

All of our gear is gender neutral and so is our Dr. Seuss nursery but DD's clothes are all frilly and girly. We were team green though so her first week she was in gender neutral stuff.

For gear yes (well...the base of my stroller - the changeable canopy is currently magenta), for blankets/toys, somewhat; for clothes, not at all. I'm a sucker for all things pink and ruffly, unfortunately. Tutus? Sparkles? Yes, please! I think as LO gets older I will branch out into more neutral fashion choices but for now I go girly crazy in hopes that people will quit asking me if she's a boy.

For big stuff and gear. Girl clothing is too cute to pass up on.

Anything expensive is gender neutral, like her snowsuit, mittens, nursery decor and playmat. All of our gifts have been pink, unfortunately.

We're planning on neutral big ticket items, but I don't have a problem with a girl wearing some boyish stuff or vice versa (within reason). I did wait until we knew she was a girl to buy pink cloth diapers! (if she has a little brother later, he can wear the pink ones at nighttime)

Our nursery is going to be classic pooh (and minimally so. Just a few accent pieces is the plan so a blanket over the rocking chair, a lamp with a classic pooh lampshade, and a few prints on the wall) The nursery was our office and we painted it tan with some brown and deep teal accents (we have a wall of shelves that are brown with teal backsplash). We love the look and decided not to paint. So the nursery will work for multiple kiddos.

The gear I've picked out is neutral (though a little boyish. My favorite color is blue lol). For clothing, my plan is to buy secondhand as much as possible, so I won't feel too guilty for buying gender-specific!

I did at first when we didn't know the gender. But as soon as we found out, I went crazy with pastels and pink! I'm really glad I didn't stick to gender neutral because it's so much fun to shop for a girl! I don't think we're having another, but even if we do, I think I want to shop for new clothes for him/her (which I didn't think I'd want to do before).

Just the big gear is neutral. Blankets, towels, and clothes are all girl. I want to enjoy it while I can, in case the next one is a boy!
