I can carry them to a different room but that is about it. My toddler is 26 lbs and my baby is 17...too much for me!

Yes, DD still wants me to carry her everywhere rather than walk. It's hard! Sometimes in scared I'll drop one of them as I try to maneuver them up and down stairs, in and out of daycare, etc. She's 30 lbs and DS is 23 lbs.
My back is killing me.

@Mrs. High Heels: Our daycare teachers make it look so easy!

We use to do it down the stairs (when DS was under 1) and we called it "2 babies." My time of carrying both is over. Unless you count carrying two LOs when I carry one of my LOs and I am currently 33 weeks pregnant..... then I guess I carry two LOs all the time hahaha.

@MamaBehr: I always say, "my two babies!" To them too. So now everytime I'm carrying them both, DD will say, "Your two babies!"

Nope, never! I highly doubt I could carry my 3.5 year old with one arm. She's probably 36-37 lbs.

I didn't do this at all since DD was 3.5 when baby sis was born. She would ask me to, but I never tried!
But just the other day, they were both sick and we were about to go down the stairs and I figured I could do it. They giggled the whole time, as did I! They are 41 and 26-ish lbs, haha
DD 1 basically hung on for dear life on her side

Once I was pregnant with DS2, I made sure to limit carrying my toddler. DH would be the one to give in, but DS1 walks with me everywhere we go. I've gotten used to carrying a tiny newborn, and my toddler feels soooooo heavy. I can barely lift him up and can't imagine carrying both of them. Plus I'm a whimp. DS1 is only 26lbs and DS2 is 6lbs.

Yes, usually just down the stairs when Little Boy doesn't want to walk. I always tell him to hold on tight and he pretty much hoists himself up.

I do carry both, but those instances are getting rarer. DD is 28 lbs and DS is around 25, so they are getting pretty heavy together!

Yep! I vastly prefer to carry them in my arms, but sometimes I need to carry them in their infant seats and it is soooo heavy.

@MamaBehr: @Mrs. High Heels: Haha I say "two babies" too!! Too funny...

Yep! Especially now that they're mobile, there's little chance that one would be in the same spot if I took them one at a time to another room. So two at a time we go.
