Nope, not gross. Same here.
One time, after spending a few days at my in-laws house and playing endlessly with their 5 dogs, I went out to tan by the pool, and I found a ton of dog hair in my belly button. Now, THAT is gross.

I do about 1x-2x/week. I have an innie (it's still BARELY hanging on at 37 weeks!) that smells. Seriously, it smells. So I have to de-smell it once in awhile (it only smells if I put something in my belly button, not if I'm just walking around).

I never clean my belly button.....is that horribly unhygienic of me?? It's an innie and there's never anything in it.

I only do it when I remember. For some reason I always forget. Maybe this thread will help me remember.

I used to clean mine occasionally, but it was never super deep, so it mostly only got some grains of whatever when we'd go camping or something.
But it's been months since my button had any sort of indent to clean. I'm really curious to see what kind of state it goes back to after the babes are born!

I didn't before, but after one bad cleaning last year... I make sure to every time I shower

Omg yes. Mine is so deep. For some reason it was really dirty after giving birth and took awhile to clean. I usually have to use a qtip. I do it maybe once a week?

Mine was so small, deep and tight before that I'd have to use a qtip and it would hurt to clean, so I'd only do it once in a while (sorry if that's gross). Now it's starting to spread out and open up, so I clean it in the shower.

@joyjoy Mine hurts to clean too! I thought I was the only person! I try to do it regularly but it really is uncomfortable for me.

Nuh uh. Nothing goes in my belly button. I'm afraid of what I'll find...and I'm only half-kidding.
