I never used to, but ever since I got pregnant, if I see something I like I ask myself if I could make it instead of buy it. Pinterest helps get my mind brewing with ideas too!
Do you do a lot of DIY projects, or do you usually just buy things?

I prefer buying things because I rarely finish my DIY projects.

I usually end up making things. Perfect example is the bunting for P's birthday... I was going to buy it, BUT it's now not available until early April (pretty much right when her birthday is) so now I'm making it! lol

Yes! I am obsessed. I can't wait until it gets a bit nicer outside (for painting and staining) I found what helped me complete my DIY projects was setting up a crafting area in the garage. This keeps everything in one place and always makes crafting easy and accessible.
I recently made a plank coffee table and we get loads of compliments on it - it was a practice run because I want to do something similar with table in the kitchen (not formal dining room table but we have a smaller one in the kitchen)

I try to make whatever I can before buying, but I am usually terrible at finishing my projects...oops.
DH used to make fun of my mom and I for always making stuff, saying my mom was running a little sweat shop at her house, but now I see something I like and he immediately goes "you can make that right?". It cracks me up.

I do! I always have some kind of personal project going on. Last year it was my wedding (I made practically everything for it), over Christmas I made a very complicated gingerbread house and currently I have been doing some rebranding for our company and kinetic typography.

I love to craft but have slowed down since having a LO. His birthday is the perfect excuse to get my crafty supplies out again. I don't even want to begin to count the number of projects I have planned.

I love DIY projects. I just finished up my daughter bedroom and we made a reading tent, curtains, book shelves and some wall art. Now I a, moving on to our guest bedroom. I wish I had more time because I always have tons of stuff I want to do.
