As the weather gets colder, I'm finding that the only pants that look right on LO are leggings. And I'm kicking myself for all the non-legging pants I bought! Because even leggings that fit aren't skinny enough for his legs, but they're the only things that are skinny enough...and sometimes I wonder if I could find baby girls' leggings anywhere that would be remotely unisex.
Tell me I'm not the only one?

Yup! Try old navy they have girl leggings that could pass for boys.

Our little boy isn't here yet but I plan to put him in jeggings almost exclusively. I don't like jean material on babies and like the look of skinny pants on boys anyway

Yes, my DS is 8mo and today from H&M I bought him 4 pairs of girls leggings! Including one pair of jeggings! I have one pair of chino type trousers for him but I find I never dress him in them as they don't look comfy. So apart from that you are left with jogging bottom style trousers which are fine but don't look good with everything. I can never find leggings for boys so girls ones do just fine - you'd never know.

@Mrs. Lion: When I look at Gap's site, strangely they call the same pants leggings for girls and banded pants for boys!

@spaniellove: haha then I have no idea what the difference is I love carters jeans for babies (the stretchy kind). I never called them jeggings because they aren't tight, but who knows.
For kids that aren't walking, only comfy clothes, whatever they may be called 
now that lo is a toddler we do buy regular jeans but he mostly wears athletic type play clothes. I like the mesh material or fleece more than sweatpant material for older kids.

I get Jack many pairs of leggings. He's little so they fit well. I often buy mine from vendors on etsy.

Yes!! I love putting my son in leggings! H&M has good ones! I got him a few pairs when he was little and two of them still fit now at 22 months!
They were big when we first got them & just rolled them till they fit!

I have a girl, but if if I ever have a son I totally plan too. They just make sense. Wider legged pants are constantly tripping her up, and she walks funny when she is in stiff pants, like jeans. Comfort rules for babies, in my opinion!
We have nice solid color leggings from old navy that are holding up well.

haha, nope, never! But I hate skinny jeans and anything like them, so that's probably why I don't put them on my kid.
