R was invited to a petting zoo party on Sat. So I am trying to think of what in her closet is the most "farmy". Am I am the only crazy one that does this?

Ha no I don't...but I don't think that's crazy! To me that's more matching the setting--like you wouldn't put her in a crazy frilly party dress for a bday party at a farm. And you wouldn't dress her in overalls if it was a tea party. But at the same time if it's an animal themed party, I wouldn't expect you to send her in a doggie costume...

@hilsy85: I don't know why it will even matter since she is going to freak out and not want to be any where near the animals. But you did remind me I think she has an overall jean dress she could wear

Farm theme sounds cute! I try to have them match the colors but I don't get special shirts or outfits made.

E's outfit has balloons on it and her hair clips match the party theme last year, her dress matched, too.

My son has literally worn a costume every year. 1st bday was Peter Pan, 2nd was just a Mickey Mouse shirt, 3rd was jake pirate costume, and this year he has a luke skywalker costume.
Each year my sister also makes birthday shirts with a number and a sew on. So this year is yoda with a 4 that he wears.

@autumnlove: I got a shirt made for her bday party this year, but I don't for other's parties but I try and dress her with the theme.

@blackbird: I went back and edited it so it says that it is a party she is invited too. Now do you think I am cray cray?

@Smurfette: nope this is awesome. When T goes to college I will send her with a trunk of costumes and accessories so she is all set for theme parties

I totally dress DD for the theme of the party! Her older cousin had a princess party, so we did a tutu and female superhero shirt. For a farm party, I totally would do overalls! How cute. I might even get her a straw hat too

I think that's fun! But I haven't done that. The only time I think I would is if it were a pool or splash party for obvious reasons.

@Smurfette: No, if E was going to a farm, i'd totally dress her up in little overalls and a gingham shirt

Not crazy at all! (as in we are going to farm themed party this weekend and I just added overalls to my shopping cart!)

@cheert16: I need to check the size when I get home. Where are you getting yours from?
