DH has been working overnight shifts and is either working or sleeping. He just got home and decided he wanted a fast food breakfast from McDonald's. I made him take LO with him...she has been a ball of energy this morning!

I love my time with LO, but everyone needs a break sometimes! I love when DH takes over some baby chores like giving her a bath or getting her dressed, playing with her etc...even that few minutes of a break is glorious!

and I really would love a break but I don't like being away from them on his days off either. I need to find a decent baby sitter!

Nap time is a sacred time in my house, I love love love love LOVE my LOs but that break is so nice. Yesterday DH, DD, and DS all took naps at the same time. It was AMAZING!!!! I also try to do a girls night out every other week or so, I love my family but I enjoy my time apart too

Haha yes I do, but if they are too long I miss LO badly! Like last night, my mom kept him overnight for the first time, and I couldn't wait to pick him up this morning!

Yes! I usually make sure I get at least 10 mins a day for myself - allows me to refresh and get some breathing space. I've been away from LO 3 times since she was born (14 weeks old) and I miss her terribly! So even though it's amazing to get a break it makes me realise how much I miss her and want to be with her again!
