One of the things I miss most about living in Los Angeles is the driving. Sure traffic sucks, but when it's smooth sailing and in alone in the car with my thoughts, I live it. It is a great anxiety reducer.
Hopefully we can get a car in ny sometime in the near future.

Yes! I enjoy roadtrips too! I took a solo trip out of state a few years ago (18 hrs round trip) and LOVED it!

I like driving when it's just me and it's my own time to do my own thing. I hate driving if it's something like going to work or to go grocery shopping.

Yes! Specifically with a full iced coffee in my cup holder. I hardly ever get to drive alone anymore though, it feels weird when I do!

I hate driving in traffic or during rush hour when there's always those road ragers out. Otherwise I like driving.

Not really, especially lately. My road rage has been insane lately or it's a full moon and people are driving like morons a lot lately.
Thankfully, DH loves to drive, so it's his "chore"

I do, though not in NYC! I was driving there yesterday with LO screaming in the backseat while I was stuck in traffic. Not fun!

I'm kind of neutral about it. I do like being alone in the car for those 13 minutes it takes me to get home from my 12.5 hour shift in a noisy ICU. Sometimes I actually wish it were a few minutes longer. Sad but true.
DH always drives if we're both in the car and that's fine with me.
