I don't mind it but DD is only 7 months so she just hangs out in the ergo.

I prefer to shop as a family. More hands to help keep the crazy at bay plus we can tackle the store twice as fast! We normally both wear one kiddo and shop quickly. Letting them be in the basket or walking always dissolves into a nightmare.

I am used to DH working nights, so I have always grocery shopped with my two. I don't really mind it, although now that I am pregnant with #3, I have less patience and tire easily.

Honestly it is a toss-up based on his mood. If I time it right, he is super cute and waves hello to everyone and helps hold/put things in the cart. Other times, he won't sit in the cart and needs to be held or cries when I won't let him hold the eggs...

I prefer not to take her. Sometimes I will get one bag at the shore 1/2 mile away and walk or the local produce stand because I can get some steps in and keep her in the stroller

I hate it! I can't think of what I meant to buy, or what I'm planning to cook, or crunch numbers to see what's more bang for the buck. All I can think of is "I need to get out before someone has a meltdown." And then there's this store with three exits. DS used to be obsessed with running into one, through the store, out the other, into the street, rinse, repeat. Trying not to lose him there was great.

I used to hate it, because DD was a crazy person. Now, our grocery store gives the kids free fruit and cookies, so she loves to sit in the cart. She snacks, and feeds her brother his banana. DH does 99% of the groceries now with both kids in tow.
