I used to get these from Whole Foods all the time. But now I just buy fresh, it's cheaper and I think it has a slightly better flavor.

I buy minced in a jar - best time saver ever. I used to hate peeling and cutting and cleaning it all up. Now I just dump it in and go about my day.

Yes, they're in perfectly sized packets too, which keeps them fresher!

I buy both peeled and fresh. For some things I prefer to use fresh, but peeled is fine for a lot of things and is a huge time saver given the amount of garlic I use.

My mom showed me this shortcut,
I buy a whole bag (its cheaper) and I peel it all at once and run it through the food processor. I then lay it flat in a ziploc and freeze it. Whenever I need some, I just take it out from the freezer, cut a piece off, and use it!
It lasts me months!

I also buy minced garlic in a jar. I won't use it unless I can scoop a teaspoon or so out!

That's all I buy. The big bag from Costco, then I come home and mince it all in the food processor!

I buy fresh, but recently bought frozen minced garlic, but I keep forgetting to use it!

@misolee: I do this too! Except I usually defrost a batch at once, then keep the rest in the freezer, and defrost more once my batch runs out.

I totally buy pre-peeled garlic, as well as the frozen minced cubes. Peeling and chopping garlic is one of my least favorite cooking activities, and I would rather pay an extra dollar or two that do it.
