I never used to until we moved. OMG... the amount of stuff I got rid was in insane... I have no words for how wasteful throwing all of those things away felt, even if I donated half the stuff. Now that we're in an apartment I am going to try my best to keep things simple and not to add to the massive amount of things that is coming in a couple of weeks (our big shipment of stuff from our SFH). I think or kids' toys will be a good 1/4 of the things that are coming... I'm kind of scared!

I don't feel like there is much stuff we could get rid of, but it does feel crowded in our little home. We both have offices set up, and there are lots of books.

Everyday of my life. But, mostly I feel like I have too much crappy stuff and more that it's too much for the space. I can't wait to have a house instead of our tiny apartment.

We donate things at least once a month because I can't stand having stuff around that we don't use. DH is much more of a hoarder than me and drives me crazy. The other day I finally got him to clean out the desk in our room, and he had a couple things left out on it, including a red sox flag that used to go in his cube at his former job. I asked him what he was going to do with it, and his response was that he wanted to save it in case our son wants to decorate his room with it.
I was like :-O. For one, our son still has 6-8 weeks cooking time left. Two, we plan to move in a couple years. It seriously made sense in his head to move something *in case* our unborn child *might* want it. And I'm like throw that $hit out! lol

I purged when I was pregnant and went through every room. And I have the itch to do it again, I need to for sure go through my closet. There are clothes I can donate that I do not wear.

@ShootingStar: that's like 90% of DHs stuff. "One day my kid will want this..." yeah right!!
Does anyone know if you can donate pictures/frame/artwork to charity? Our basement is filled with tons of framed "art" and lots of crappy paintings that DH has accumulated that I have no idea what to do with.

@sheskrafty: Not sure if there's a set up system (I've not heard of one) but perhaps you could see if the local area women's shelters and safe homes would like some. I know in our area they regularly take furniture, TVs, etc, to help make it feel more like home. I'm betting art would meet that need, too.
