This morning I got up and brushed my teeth then took out my hairdryer and plugged it in. But I hadn't taken a shower! I just stood there staring at it and thinking, "why the F did I take this out and plug it in?!"

Yes, all the time. Every morning I carry my phone downstairs and every morning I have to look for it before leaving. I'd say 1/2 the time it's in the bag I just overlook it!

Yes! On a daily basis I find myself going to put something in the fridge that does not belong in there!

Yes. I left my hair straighteners on all day yesterday, on top of a wooden dresser. It's a good job DH didn't find them, he would have flipped his lid. Then today, I pulled up to the petrol station with the pump on the wrong side the the fuel cap (we fill our own cars up here, no attendant) - I just stood there holding the pump, staring at the smooth, capless side of my car and thinking "huh?"

@illumina: haha, it makes sense if you did it consciously! It is still soap. My problem is that I don't realize I need to shampoo my hair too!

I found our milk in the cupboard last week...luckily it was almost gone! but seriously the cupboard not the fridge! My husband was like "are you pregnant, you're acting like last time!"

Yes, all the time! I used to have a great memory and would remember where I put everything and now I can't remember where to find things for the life of me.
@lawbee11: I once used astringent instead of eye make up remover. That wasn't from mommy brain though. I had come back from a club and I may or may not have been still intoxicated...

All the time. I accidentally recycled a full six pack of beer yesterday instead of putting it in the fridge. DH was not thrilled.
