I pulled out some of our Christmas decorations today and put the tree stand and tree skirt in the spot I think I want them to go in for DH's opinion. Well the dogs have decided this must be a new bed for them. I have said "off, not a dog bed!" about 8 billion times. Each time, they mosey away to the nearest dog bed (there are 5 of them throughout this house!). Then 10 minutes later, they're back at it!!

OH YES. Our dog loves to sneak up on the couch. I started putting blankets on it because I just couldn't get him to stop, but he digs the blankets up anyway. *sigh*

@.twist.: Our big guy digs the blankets up on our BED when I'm not paying attention. Yesterday he'd dug up the blankets, the pillows and made a nest on MY side of the bed. Sigh. Why do we put up with this?

@prettylizy: YES! I always get told "don't be mean..." by DH, but I'm trying to break habits in a stern way. I'm not doing it out of anger or anything. DH will coddle our little furbaby.

My dog only doesn't listen to me when my mom's here. He knows she lets him get away with anything.
@BabyBear: My mom tells me I'm being mean to him too but I'm doing things for his safety, like not letting him eat things that will make his tummy upset.

Yep! Our dog is a relentless food begger even though we feed her quite well, so she's ALWAYS underfoot in the kitchen and standing right in the middle of everything. I finally have to yell at her to GET OUT OF THE KITCHEN and she won't budge until I say it a few times, and even then she'll walk to the very edge of the kitchen but still just stand there. Ugh! It was so much worse though in our last house, our kitchen was RIDICULOUSLY small so it was actually a hazard lol.

@artbee: Exactly! Our maltese got stepped on by DH yesterday morning because she's constantly under our feet. Last night we got home from dinner and she was tripping me so I got upset. I don't want to hurt her! So, I told her no and to go lay down. DH tells me not to be mean - she's excited to see us.

@prettylizy: Yep, he does it to our bed too when we're not home. I guess he's so cute it's just hard to be mad at him. lol.

We were having issues with our smaller cat peeing in the house because our larger one was guarding the litter boxes. I feel like I yelled about pee for like 5 days straight.
