This made me smile!

I've had a few "mom date's" with Ben and he really opens up too. He doesn't always tell the truth lol but I love his real conversations. Time with him at night is especially my favorite. We talk about the highs and lows of the day, what he wants to do tomorrow and usually end with telling a few stories which he LOVES.

I have yet to take him on an evening walk without DH and DD though!

I can't wait to do this with LO.

That sounds so wonderful! It'll be nice when DH can do that with LO in the future!

We try to walk around the neighborhood every evening. I'm a whom so I don't get to take walks with LO during the day and try to make it a priority in the evening. It doesnt always happen, but I know she loves it and well try to at least go on a short stroll.

Yep, unless it's really awful weather DH will pretty much always have LO outside walking around the neighborhood before and/or after dinner. If I'm around I'll usually join them. When it's just me and LO we tend to stay in, but occasionally we'll do the walk, and it's lovely to just kind of meander around when everything is quieting down.

That's very cute! It actually reminded me that when I was in my pre-teens and teen years, my dad and I used to go for walks after dinner a few times a week. We loved to go in the winter when it was snowing. I was a girly-girl and spent a lot of time with my friends at that age, and my mom and I liked to shop together and watch a few tv shows together but my dad and I didn't have anything that we really did together. I guess that's why we started the walks and we had such a good time! That was when I realized how much like my dad I really was, personality-wise. I would love for my husband to do that with our daughter when she's older.

we love family walks. LO is only 4 months, so she doesn't say much, but we like to walk to the beach in the evening and sometimes mornings too.
