We've done this a couple times.
He likes Quintin Tarantino movies and I don't. Or he'll want to see really scary movies and I don't.
So instead I'll see something else. It usually ends up being a chick flick or something.
Anyone else do this?
DH wants to see the new Die Hard movie and I want to see the new Nicholas Sparks movie. I don't mind seeing the Die Hard movie but want to see the NS movie so bad.
Though, seeing a movie by yourself on V day is kinda sad.

Nope, never... We like watching similar movies, thank goodness. Otherwise, I'd tell him to watch it with his bro or someone.... I love chick flicks, but I don't like to spend big money on them and will wait for it to come out for free lol....

@tequiero21: Yeah, he's a big fan of movies and seeing them when they come out. So he either goes alone or asks me to come with. We have seen way too many midnight premiere showings.
Can't wait til we have kids, so we can stop going to the movies so much. At least, that's what I hope the DH will realize that we spend a lot going to the movies.

@bluestriped bee: YES! We do it a lot. We love each other so much, but we don't love the same movies. We match up our movie times and go together, but once we're inside we go our separate ways. At first I didn't like the idea of it, but we're both happy in the end.

Nope! If he wants to see something that's horror related, he goes with one of his friends. Those are the only movies I can't stand.

We've never done this. We usually like the same movies. The only exception is horror. I refuse to watch any horror film.

As a V-day gift, DH ended up watching my movie with me. He has dragged me along to so many superhero movies that it was nice of him to watch a chick flick with me.
