...that you really REALLY miss your LO?
C had a really bad teething night last night...The only thing that consoled him was being held. I had to let him cry for a few minutes this morning so I could shower. As soon as I picked him up he snuggled up to me and his crying turned into sniffles.... so now I am consumed with mommy guilt. Pretty sure I just sat in my car on my lunch break and cried because I miss him

I think we wouldn't be normal mamas if we didn't have those days. Lala came into our bed last night and when she woke up this morning she said, "Mama, let's have a morning conversation. What do you want to talk about?" while snuggling me.
I mean how in the world do you let that walk out the door and go to school!?
And M was crying "mama" and reaching for me as she walked out the door. Kill me!

Awww hon, we all have those days. Today is one for me too . . . Hubs is OOT for work and LO has a cold (and she's cutting 3 new teeth) . . . she was a total trooper through all of the nose wipes, Tylenol, and NoseFrida-ing this morning (even though she cried . . . I would have cried too!) while I was getting her ready for daycare. But I was so traumatized that I totally skipped my shower (and seriously, my hair hasn't been washed in 3 days now!) because I just wanted to hold her as much as possible before it was time to go. And she's 13 months, so, I should be better at this by now.

Yes!!! I mean, most days I'm pretty busy at work (on HB, not actually working) that I can be distracted from missing him, but sometimes I just miss him sooooooooo much!!!

Mondays are the worst! I spend all weekend solo parenting and by Monday morning I don't want to leave him

Yes, at least once a week. I've started to use my lunch hour a day a week to go visit her, but I don't know if it's making it harder or easier! Seriously, sometimes it makes my stomach hurt I miss her so much. Ugh.

@MsLipGloss: Especially hard because I'm not going in to the office until noon today. It was everything I could do to not keep them home today... But they need their routine and mama needs to get stuff done. We did have a great weekend together, so I'm holding on to that!

Yeah, one day my son very clearly said "no school" between huge sobs, but I had to send him anyway. I managed not to cry on my 1.5 hour commute, but as soon as I got to the floor, I found a friend and proceeded to just let the floodgates open. It happens and your'e totally normal.

Yes! I started a thread about this a month or so ago. Some days it is just so hard. I hate that I am not with her right now. After the weekend full of hugs, snuggles, laughs and smiles, Monday's suck even more.

@Mrs. Jacks: I had the option to keep LO home today, especially since she has a cold (and a little cough) and is teething. But we just started daycare full-time 2 weeks ago. So getting the routine established is important. *sigh*

I feel your pain. A few weeks ago, I got into a car accident on my way to work. $2000 in damage. All I could think about, "Yes! I get to stay home with B now!" Sad, I know.

Yes, Mondays are hard! My LO gets really attached to me on the weekends and he gets upset too when I have to leave in the mornings!
