Whenever DH has to rock T to sleep because he's being difficult at bedtime I go hide in the bathroom because he always throws a 5 minute tantrum before he settles down. I can't take it
I think I've actially trained myself to have to go now. Haha

Baahahaha, yes. I've "hidden" on the bed while she played on the floor. I've also hidden on top of the counter (and eaten cookie dough) while she sat on the floor and watched. She's in this SUPER like, "hands on" stage where she wants to be climbing me or hanging on me con.stant.ly (and she still naps on me...oops), so momma needs a break every now and then!

@Turd Ferguson: haha I didn't think of it that way! T has started wanting everything he sees although he's not mobile yet. I have to sneak a text behind my back!

This isn't a bad idea if you want to have a second kid... I believe parents on here and my IRL friends suggests never giving kid #1 full attention of both parents that way when #2 comes they don't feel cheated on by having only one parent's attention.
So you are probably doing a good thing for the future of your family.
Okay I'm kind of stretching it a bit.

My LO is in a super clingy phase, so I try several times a day to divert his attention in his playroom and sneak out. I sit around the corner and veg out on the computer until he realizes I'm gone and comes to find me.

Haha she likes to go in her room to play & I always go unplug her box fan then sneak out & she often plays for a good five minutes before she comes looking for me. It's nice. lol
