I was craving soda a few weeks ago so I bought a 12 pack of Diet Dr. Pepper...I drank 2 and I forgot about them. I wanted one today but they are all gone! I need to hide soda from DH...

Yup, I tell myself to hide food when DH eats or drinks it all.
It's usually an afterthought.
Sometimes the DH will ask me to buy only 1 case of soda. I buy 3 or 4 because it's on sale and it's cheaper to buy more cases... I'll leave the cases of soda in my trunk.

We hide blueberries. We both love them and both get annoyed when the other one has shoveled all of them down.

Yep, he knows where my hidden food is. It's become a long running joke with us. I hid Oreos from him when I was pregnant because they would disappear. Recently, he ate some of my bagged popcorn. I was looking forward to it and went on a snack rampage when I went to bed. I was pissed about that. So, I made sure to get him enough snacks so he wouldn't touch mine. Yes, I'm possessive about food!

Bahahah - yes I totally do. DH calls me a hoarder and knows all my spots. But I'm the same way - I buy a 6 pack of coke to last us a few weeks and they're gone in like 2 days!!! Grr.

The only time I hide food is when I buy candy for his stocking or I'm cooking something I want to surprise him with.

Yes. We never keep junk food in the house because if its there he'll eat it all in one siting. So I sometimes hide chocolate on my period.

Yes!!! My husband will admit that he does not have a stop button, and will eat a whole bag/package etc of whatever it is. We dont normally have chips, candy or junk in the house so when we do he will eat it all. I will hide the good crackers!

Yes! My mom sent me some mini raspberry tartlets in the mail and he's already eaten most of them. I hid them last night.

DH hides all the good cereal from me, like Lucky Charms! He leaves me the boring healthy cereal. Makes me sad to eat Muesli when I know there's some marshmallow goodness hidden somewhere in our house lol

Ugh, I wish DH would hide stuff from me! I can behave and not buy junk, then he comes home with it! If it's not in the house I'm fine, but when I know it's here....look out.

No, but i make dh put junk food and candy away where i wont find them so im not tempted to eat any!

I try to, but he ALWAYS finds it. And he has a terrible habit of eating the last of something and not throwing away the package. So I'll think there are cookies left and when I grab the package it's empty. Shenanigans!

I hide foods that he can't resist... though he often ends up asking me point blank if there's anything sweet in the house. I hate lying, so I usually end up telling him if there's something hidden, which defeats the whole purpose!

OMG yes. I have a whole bunch of stuff stocked for when guests come over unexpectedly, and when I checked recently, a good amount was missing! Soda and cookies mostly... grrr DH!
