Lol...I would never say anything but I definitely doubt some of my friends when they say they don't want anymore kids! I am putting my money on future pregnancy announcements from some these friends!

I actually doubt the ones who say they want 5 kids! I think they will stop at 2 or 3.

I doubt them if they only have one baby and it's still really little. Sometimes you feel like you never want to do it again...but then you do.

@Andrea: Most of the friends I doubt have one kid going through something...not sleeping through the night, potty training or bad eating habits!

Not really. i think some of my friends really do only want one kid. But most of them are in the "never say never" camp.

Most of my friends are pretty open about wanting more, and no one is one and done. I do, however, doubt myself when I say I'm done!

I have a friend who got her tubes tied so I know that she's for sure when she says she's done.

No. Being one of those people that is one and done it can become irritating and hurtful when people think they know you and your future better than you do and continue to tell you that you are wrong or mistaken and will change your mind. Perhaps I've had a poor experience with others sharing their opinions a little too freely.

As for doubting ppl, I don't really have any friends that say this since most of them had their kids way before me. A few say they want another baby - I doubt that more. They usually just say it in passing.

Most of my friends are just starting to have babies so no one is really saying that now. My brother and SIL are one and done and I believe them-- they were older when they started and are very happy with the one. My mom expresses her doubts, and her concerns about their age for when they change their mind. She only says it to me and my sisters, not my brother or SIL, but it still pisses me off for their sake.

We plan on being one and done and I hate when everyone tells us that we will change our minds. DH is planning on getting a vasectomy so I think the chances are pretty slim that we will ever go back on our decision.

Nah, I usually believe people when they say they are done (sometimes I think it's sad if they are really awesome parents or made cute kids but I usually don't say anything).
I was one of those people who said one and done but I am SO glad we had two.
