Yes, and I'm fine with it! He snores easily, so sometimes he just takes the guest bedroom.

All the time for various reasons. Illness, snoring, sleepless nights with the kiddo, insomnia. I usually head to the guest room and he keeps our bed. We actually choose to have separate beds when we book hotel rooms. It's like a vacation in itself. All the legroom I want.

We don't - unless one of us is really sick or we've had a fight It probably would be better if we did, though, because our bed is kind of small and it's difficult for both of us to get comfortable. We both also snore. DH read an article (I don't remember the source) suggesting that couples that sleep apart have more successful marriages.

A few times when he was really sick and I was pregnant. Then maybe once a month when LO has a bad dream and wakes up at like 2 am and DH goes to comfort LO and ends up falling asleep in LO's room... which we feel is LO's plan since he doesn't like sleeping alone. Haha.

The first day my husband went back to work after the babies were born, he slept in one of our guest beds. It was so sad! The next time he was going to sleep in our room just until the babies' first wake up but he ended up staying the whole night and has slept in our room ever since. That's the only time I can think if that we've slept apart!

We've never slept apart since being married. We've also never gone to bed at different times. We were just talking about this last night - we always head to bed at the same time. We just prefer it that way.

Not usually. D'll sleep on the couch sometimes if I'm really sick, so I have space, and we've both (separately) slept with E when he's been sick before.

Yep, pretty often. We have a spare bed in LO's room, and I actually don't think I can remember the last time we made it through the whole night without one of us leaving to the other bed.

We sleep apart quite a bit. I often move to the couch because he's snoring or I'm having trouble sleeping. He falls asleep on the couch watching tv on the weekends.

We never used to...then we had sleep hell with LO--I was going down at 7:00 when she did, she slept in our room/co-slept, and DH snored, so he slept in our guest room. He loved it because he got great sleep all night, I loved it because he wasn't there to wake me up (as if I needed anything else to keep me up!). Now, LO is in her own room, but still comes in bed with me at around 4:30ish every morning, so we're still in separate beds/rooms.
We've been meaning to get back in the same bed, but...just haven't. Meh. He goes to bed way later, snores, etc., so for now it's working great for us!

DH slept on the couch once when my niece was staying over and another time when he had a bad cold (he already snores pretty loudly.)

Sometimes if I can't fall asleep and it's like 3am I'll go out to the living room and try to sleep on the couch with the TV on. But I usually end up going back to bed (but at least in a more tired state from when I left it).

Yep. My snoring bothers him and I have insomnia issues, so generally at least once a week one of us takes the couch. We honestly both sleep better...

DH works a rotating shift schedule so we sleep apart quite often. It annoys me, but there really isn't much we can do about it. We are hoping he will be able to find a new job with a better schedule soon.

I'm so glad to hear there are a few other couples who sleep apart!

Yep.... DH sometimes falls asleep on the couch early on his workout days or sometimes I do because I stay up later and he's a light sleeper!

We've never slept apart and we always settle for bed at the same time.

Even if DH falls asleep on the couch, he always ends up in bed with me. The only time I can think of is when he forced me to go to bed alone and he stayed out in the living room with a screaming 5 day-old. I woke up at 2 AM to find one in the swing and one on the couch, both completely cashed out.

Very very rarely. Usually only when DH is super sick and coughing and can't sleep.
